Amazed beyond belief!! That is the phrase that I use to describe my happiness with my new vision. Dr. John Odette performed my cataract surgery on both eyes. I chose to have the Restor[tm] lens implanted, and I could not be happier. I knew that my vision had changed, but I could not believe how bad it had gotten. After I had the first eye done and noticed the massive change in my vision, I could hardly wait to have the other eye done. My vision is now perfect. I don’t have to wear glasses or readers, and have had no issues since the surgery. I highly reccomend Dr. Odette and the professional staff at Austin Eye. Dr. Odette and Austin Eye have another patient for life.

Dr. Wong has taken care of my eyes for nearly 25 years, and he always has been professional, caring and extremely competent. He fitted me with contacts, and when I was finally ready, he performed Lasix, which opened a new world for me! He removed my mother’s cataracts, has taken care of our annual exams, and just this week, when I developed a troubling symptom, he made time immediately for me. Dr. Wong and his team have always provided the highest level of care and compassion, and I cannot imagine changing doctors.

Dr. Wong is simply amazing! I am now seeing 20/15 and couldn’t be any happier with my results! This was most definitely worth it! Would recommend Austin Eye to anybody seeking iLASIK surgery! No more glasses and no more contacts! Woo Hoo! I just want to mention also how painless the operation was and how quickly it lasted. I never felt uncomfortable for one moment (am glad I brought my jacket though haha). They do give you a valium to help you relax, which did. The staff was wonderful, and I had a pleasant experience! Thank you guys!

Ecstatic! That is the word I use to describe my happiness with my new vision. Dr. Shannon Wong performed iLasik Surgery on me and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. I’ve had a lifetime of eye problems starting with Muscle Imbalance surgery at age 2 which resulted in eye glasses at that young age, years of eye patches to correct lazy eye, years of misfitting contact lenses and too many corneal abrasions to count. Years of having “a lot of astigmatism” meant years of bad vision, even with “weighted contact lenses”. Now I have perfect vision and am ECSTATIC about it! I got two consultations for iLasik surgery. With the “other” place, I didn’t even meet the doctor! The office girl just gave me a call to tell me that the doctor said I would be a good candidate for the surgery. (She couldn’t tell me herself after performing the tests needed, that’s how bad my eyesight and astigmatism was). The doctor himself didn’t even call me to discuss my test results, it was left up to the office girl to call me. You can imagine how worried I was having not even met the doctor that would be performing the surgery. I went to Austin Eye and from the very first reception, to meeting Dr. Wong, to testing, to pre-op, post op, and end results….every step and every person within this organization was pure professionalism. I am so blessed to have found Dr. Odette. My eyesight was gradually failing, I was unable to read the scrolling on the TV (among other things) and my husband was getting frustrated having to read things for me. At Dr. Odette’s suggestion I choose to have Laser Astigmatism Correcting Surgery which also removed the cataracts in both eyes. I cannot believe the clarity of vision and the beautiful colors of nature which I have been missing out of for all this time. The procedure was fast, painless and my vision returned in one day. I am also informed that it will continue to improve over time. Thank you Dr. Odette for the gift you have given me. I will highly recommend you to anyone seeking help with their vision.
