Dr. Ashley Deese is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and now calls Austin, Texas home. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) and completed her Doctor of Optometry with honors at the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2017.
After graduation, she completed a fellowship in surgical co-management and corneal disease. Her areas of interest within optometry include: specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and glaucoma management.
Her dedication to service extends beyond the clinic. Dr. Deese has participated in mission trips to Haiti and Africa, providing much-needed eye care to underserved communities. She looks forward to continuing this work in the future.
Dr. Deese is passionate about forming meaningful, one-on-one connections with her patients. She takes pride in making sure each person feels comfortable and confident in their eye care, and she strives to provide personalized, thoughtful treatment at every visit.
Outside of optometry, she enjoys doing crosswords, going for walks, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with her friends and family.
