My wife and I were out of town this past weekend and she ran into a tree branch and damaged her cornea. After her situation had not improved the following morning we drove to the nearest town to get it checked out. After driving to another town and still not getting any results we decided to call Dr. Odette at Austin Eye. He listened to our situation over the phone and immediately set our mind at ease informing us based on the information we’d given a couple of different things could be happening but neither was serious. We were able to book an appointment the following morning to have Dr. Odette examine her. He did a procedure in the clinic and had my wife’s eye repaired inside of an hour! The entire experience was first class from booking our appointment, to the medical counsel we received to the treatment. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

I had Lens Replacement surgery on both eyes at Austin Eye (Jolleyville) two weeks apart. Just finished up yesterday. I selected Dr.Bui as my Dr. and did I make the right choice! Upon my initial consultation Dr. Bui listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and after the exam told me she could help me to achieve the results i was after. (Never wear glasses again). Everyone at Austin Eye is extremely professional, knows their job well, and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable while in their care. Dr.Bui’s team work extremely well together. A few I would like to mention are Kayla ( did my initial eye exam, she is very nice). Then you have the nurses that prep you for surgery. Two really stand out, Abby and Ashley. They are with you the whole time before the procedure, putting drops in your eyes, monitoring vitals, and just talking to you, helping you to relax and making sure you are comfortable.Darby is another nurse who goes over everything one final time before surgery. After surgery Kristi is the post-op nurse who checks vitals one last time before discharge (also very nice person). Dr. Bui talks to you throughout the procedure telling you what to expect and what she is doing! This surgery does NOT hurt at all! Just relax, concentrate on your breathing, enjoy the light show, and its over in a few minutes. The worst part about this is not being able to rub your eye for a few weeks (Drops,Drops, Drops).I did have some redness and tearing (normal) for a day or two.. The Best part…. I can see like i did when i was twenty the day after surgery!! No more glasses!! I highly recommend Austin Eye and Dr.Bui. I am so happy with my results.

Great experience! Received numerous recommendations about Dr Wong and so glad I went to Austin Eye. Professional, knowledgeable staff that was able to answer all of my questions and make me feel confident about pursuing LASIK. Dr Wong was very encouraging throughout the procedure letting me know everything was going smoothly at each step. Being able to see without corrective lenses is a miracle!

For those of you having cataract surgery I wanted to alleviate a fear for you just in case you have an overactive imagination like I do! You CANNOT see anything at all coming toward your eye during surgery like in the scary movies I saw as a child. This unfounded fear created so much unnecessary anxiety for days before the surgery right up until the actual surgery. The surgery was fast and there was no pain. They also have a wonderful lady that is a great hand holder if you need one. The staff is caring and Dr. Bui was wonderful. I have my other eye done next week and there will be no anxiety for me…..it is a breeze.

Austin Eye has restored my faith in the medical profession. I had the MOST rigorous eye exam conducted by Paloma, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and above all thorough. Paloma patiently answered my barrage of questions and showed me several videos, ensuring I had no questions left. I then had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Wong. Dr. Wong walked me through the pros and cons of each eye correction option (I have extreme Myopia) and answered all of my questions with a depth of detail that addressed my key concerns. Dr. Wong made it clear that he has your interests at heart. If you are considering laser eye surgery, look no further.
