I am writing this review for my wife, Mattie. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Marie Bui and the staff at Austin Eye. Mattie had cataract surgery on both eyes. Left eye first, then the right eye a week later. She was told that she would still probably need to wear glasses. She has worn glasses since age 8. A week after the final surgery her vision was 20/25 ! She now only wears reading glasses. Amazing !

I am looking forward to getting back on the water (windsurfing) once my eyes have healed. I will actually be able to see where I am going for the first time since my mid forties. This can come in handy:-) Dr Odette deserves recognition for an outstanding job, not only with the surgeries, but with the follow up visits, patient communication, and the sometimes difficult decisions that have to be made. Like others have said all the staff are well trained and do a fantastic job.

I had laser cataract surgery by Dr. Odette yesterday , I was a wonderful experience and the doctor and staff were EXCELLENT……I would highly recommend them …… Shelby the RN was very reassuring….

I had cataract removal and lense implant surgery on Sept 2, 2015. Although I had no fear, as i trusted Dr. Shannon Wong from my pre-opt appt,. I was amazed at the professionalism and extraordinary care of he and his staff on the day of surgery. Although it was a serious surgery, I told him it was “almost” a fun experience as everyone was so pleasant and informative. It was over before I knew it and I have not had one unpleasant moment since. My surgery was now, two days ago and I can see things I didn’t realize I was having trouble seeing before. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Wong and his amazing staff. Thank you all so very much.

I had cataract surgery in late August 2015.The outcome was nothing short of great. Not only are the cataracts gone but my vision was improved to the point that I went to the DPS, passed the vision test and got the corrective lenses restriction removed from my drivers license. I worked as a Medicare/Medicaid inspector for over 20 years and I know what makes good health care. Austin Eye gives excellent care and service. The care comes from their competent, efficient, hardworking team. From the receptionist to the Doctors everyone does a wonderful job. It is a team. In surgery everything is spotless, the whole place is spotless. Even the restrooms are clean.
