These folks are great. I went in for a routine eye check and found I only needed a minor change in my glasses. Very professional and efficient for the whole process. Thank you Shannon and all the staff at Austin Eye.

Dr. Bui and their staff were amazing. I’m 63 and needed cataracts removed from both eyes. After careful reviewing, I chose Austin Eye and I’m so glad I did! I paid the premium amount for the symphony surgery, but wow, now I’m free of cataracts for the rest of my life. My vision is now glasses-free! She and the staff spent a lot of time patiently explaining all of my options. I had lasick eye surgery from another surgeon 12 years ago, and since then I developed cataracts , which had greatly diminished my vision. Dr. Bui recommend removing both cataracts which she did, and so far, no glasses needed for either reading or driving, including night driving. Eventually I may need to return to reading glasses, and if and when I do that is not an issue. My primary concern was driving, especially at night, which is no longer a concern. The health of my eyes is perfect, it was just that everything at every distance was blurry. I was sick and tired of b buying new glasses every year and needing multiple pairs scattered around everywhere. So I decided to have Dr. Wong replace my natural, old and still lenses with the Symfony lens. Wow it is great to see like I did in my 30’s. 20/20 vision now in both eyes that will remain with me till the day I die. Painless and only about 3 hours. What a quality of life improvement.

I never leave reviews, I always leave that for other people. Not this time! Dr. Shannon Wong worked a miracle on me. I was the worst case RK patient that you could imagine. Blind coming and going. When I made the choice to have the cataract lens replacement with the Symfony lenses, I had expectations that it would take about 2 or more surgeries to get it just right and I still did it. I could not believe that my vision was absolutely perfect immediately after my surgeries. In fact, I went to the gun range to target practice just 3 weeks later and it was bull’s-eyes galore! I haven’t touched my gun since 1983! The scope and the target were all perfectly in focus. I’m so happy and I will not be needing anymore surgeries. If you have any doubt, call me and I will read anything you want me to! Just test me! Huge Smiley Face!

“Thank you Austin Eye for giving me the best eye exam I have ever received. All staff members seemed very knowledgeable from the woman I spoke with on the phone to schedule my appointment to the optician who made my glasses. After checking in for my appointment, I was called back by a technician who performed a series of tests on me including a picture of the back of my eye that was later e-mailed to me. How cool! Dr. Odette was extremely thorough and took the time to make sure my glasses prescription was right. His excellent bedside manner made me feel comfortable through the entire exam.
