I love my new vision after iLASIK surgery at Austin Eye! Though I was prepared for the surgery, the procedure was terrifying. Thankfully it was really quick. I was in and out in maybe 30 minutes. With the surgery, my prescription went from -7.75 to 0.00! Dr. Shannon Wong is a very skilled surgeon. I am very pleased with his work. The office itself has very friendly staff and a cozy waiting room. The only dislike I have for the office is the wait for your appointment. You may be seen right at your appointment time or you may be seen 20 minutes later than scheduled. It is highly variable.
Dr. Bui recently performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. Necessary because of cancer treatments. So I have seen my share of doctors and doctor offices. I was put at ease once I walked into the back area and saw the best equipment in the world and meet staff that were professional, kind and supportive. Then I meet Dr. Bui. She exudes intelligence, confidence and compassion. She new exactly what my challenges were. She was thoughtful and came up with a plan. She explained things so that I could understand and feel comfortable about the surgeries and the outcome. She was wonderful about answering questions. Also after the surgeries they check up on you. I can see clearly now out of both eyes!! Dr. Bui and her staff are my blessing. I am forever grateful to them.
Had lense replacement surgery today. The staff was amazing and the procedure was flawless. No pain whatsoever. I’ll let you know how wonderful the lenses are tomorrow.
