My experience with Dr. Wong and the AustinEye staff was superlative in all aspects. The skill of the surgeon is of great importance to every patient; Dr. Wong is the one. My vision in the eye in which he implanted the monofocal lens is excellent; that is a significant psychological relief. I saw several ophthalmologists in Boulder, Colorado, who were not helpful and not believing my description of my visual problems. That caused me to travel 1000 miles to Austin to see Dr. Wong; the result was well worth the travel. He is personable and of good humor.

Best decision I made was to get laser lens replacement. Dr. Wong was patient and answered all of my questions. They have the procedure down to a science, almost like an assembly line but you're treated as an individual. Very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend Austin Eye for your vision services.

Dr. Marie Bui from Austin Eye is my Miracle Doctor. I am 68 and had accepted my terrible vision for many years when my son Chad told me of the possibility of having my eye lenses replaced. I thought Chad was nuts! He scolded me for taking care of everyone around me while doing zero for me. LOL but true. Chad made an appointment for me with Dr. Bui. She quickly did some testing and told me she thought that 20/20 might be possible. I almost thought she was nuts too. Well, we did it! Came out 20/20 on the left eye and 20/22 on the right eye. Did one eye and the other eye a week later. No pain. Honest no pain! Dr. Bui did my eyes just before Christmas of 2020 and I am posting this September 8, 2021 which is Chad's 50th birthday. I have already become spoiled with my new vision. My vision is the same as when I was 30. Thank you Chad for pushing me and THANK YOU AUSTIN EYE AND DR. MARIE BUI! Wish You All The Best!!! UPDATING MY FIRST REVIEW- I just had my second eye done with the symphony lens yesterday. I can see so well, I have not touched my glasses since the first eye was done a week ago! I have no pain, no discomfort, no "floaters"- NOTHING!! I am deleriously happy! I stuck my glasses in a drawer and forgot about them. The feeling of freedom is beyond anything I expected. Doctor Wong was wonderful, and his entire staff is top notch! This was my 65th birthday present to myself and I DESERVED IT- you probably do too.. I just have to get used to seeing myself without glasses now! I almost forgot, my eyes are GREEN!
