My 6-month visit to Austin Eye is a very relax trip. The Techs who test me before the doctor are always friendly. My doctor is likewise, Waiting is never long and you are treated by the doctor with interest. Always a smile on his face. Your questions are always answered. An Austin Serice since the 1960s.
Staff were great. Dr. Wong took his time and we discussed everything about my problem and reached a good decision.
I did not wait but a few minutes past my appointment time to be seen. Vision was tested using a few machines, then Dr. Deese saw me, and explained how my vision was doing (pretty good), answered my questions, and set me up for next year’s visit. All good.

Dr Elkins and her staff were thorough, kind, and precise. David was very thorough performing all of the eye tests needed. Dr Elkins completed my exam. She answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns with patience and kindness, offering helpful suggestions. They were very honest and only offered what was needed. There was no upsell for things that aren’t medically necessary and, after very different experiences elsewhere, I’m grateful!
