Enjoyed working with an experienced female Will be back again next year for my diabetic eye exam

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Wong and the staff at Austin Eye for my two cataract surgeries in early November 2025. I am extremely pleased with my current vision with the Bausch & Lomb Envista Aspire toric monofocal interocular lenses. On the day of the respective cataract surgeries, the pre-surgery surgical staff were excellent. And during the cataract surgeries with only oral sedation and numbing eye drops, I did not feel any uncomfortable sensation whatsoever. In fact, during the first surgery I was wondering if they had really started any hard part of the cataract surgery yet, when Dr. Wong told me they were seconds away from being completely done and that everything went fine. Austin Eye’s post-surgery care for me was every bit as good as their pre-surgery and day of surgery care. I especially appreciated that when I accidentally poked myself in my operated right eye three days after the first surgery and was very worried that I might have damaged something, they got me into the office immediately to check it out that everything was fine. In sum, I had an excellent experience with Dr. Wong and Austin Eye for my cataract surgeries. I most especially appreciate how Dr. Wong communicates with his patients. I would strongly recommend Dr. Wong and Austin Eye to my family and friends seeking cataract surgery recommendations.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and nice about all the directions on the tools she used on me, listening to all of my questions I had and the Doctor Elkins was great in explaining and showing me all the tests they did and pics they took of my eyes. Thank y’all for being here for me.
