I would definitely recommend Dr. Wong. He performed Lasik surgery for me last year and I have been extremely pleased. His office is professional and friendly, and was always helpful. The wait times in the lobby for my appointments was minimal, and the surgery was easy. Dr. Wong explained each step of the process and answered all of my questions.

I had a damaged right pupal and have had it since 1990. Several eye specialist told me there was no fix so I learned to live with it. I was referred to Dr. Shannon Wong for cataract surgery and during his examination he notice my right pupal would not close. He asked if I would like to have it repaired during my cataract surgery. I explained I had been told it was unrepairable, but he can repair it absolutely. He repaired my pupil just as he said he could. He,without a doubt, is the best in Austin and strongly recommend him. You will not regret it!

I had wanted cataract surgery for awhile and waited patiently for the right time. When I went for my yearly eye exam, Dr. Bui told me that I was ready for the cataract surgery and also lense placement. I was excited that I faced the possibility of no more glasses. As of this date, I have had both eyes done and am on the mend beautifully. I felt as if I had bonded with Dr. Bui from the get-go. She explained everything that I was going to experience, down to the slightest detail. The days if my surgery, I was given a relaxing pill, and many different drops were dropped into my eyes. Of course, I had only one eye done at a time. My eyes were numbed, and I never felt any pain. Dr. Bui told me when I would experience bright light, water irrigation, and pressure. There were no surprises, and it was over before I knew it. My wonderful neighbors took me to my appointments and drove me home. You MUST have a driver. When I arrived home, I was still somewhat sleepy, so I napped. I used my drops as instructed and followed all the post op directions. That is important. Long story short, I have had NO problems, and I’m very pleased with Dr. Bui and her staff. If you want excellent care and a very intelligent and caring doctor, then you should go to Austin Eye and ask for Dr. Bui. She’s fantastic.

I was extremely near sighted since childhood and in later years developed glaucoma. This year, I started to worry about my eyesight because my eyes felt hot and burned much of the time. Also, I could not see well enough at night to drive safely. I went to see Doctor Bui for a consultation. She was kind and exuded positivity and confidence. She recommended that I have lazik cataract surgery and a stint placed in each eye to help drainage and lower eye pressure. Dr. Bui explained the procedure thoroughly. I trusted that she was an excellent surgeon; precise and caring. As she had assured me, the surgery experience was excellent. Dr. Bui and staff took such good care of me that I had no worries. There was no pain and very minimal discomfort. I am thrilled with the results! For the first time in my life, I wake up and I can see perfectly! With my symphony lenses, I can even read without reading glasses. I can’t thank Dr. Bui enough. She is an exceptionally skilled surgeon who truly cares about her patient. I highly recommend her as a doctor and surgeon!
