I recently had cataract removal/lense replacement surgery performed by Dr. Marie Bui, MD at their Jolleyville Rd. location. The staff and facility was top notch. Very informative, patient, and professional. I highly recommend Austin Eye for any of your eye care needs.

Excellence. Staff and facilities!

I was nervous about having my cataracts removed. However, after they have finished my first eye, I am not afraid but excited about getting the other one done next week. Every one from the receptionist to the pre-op staff and surgeon were wonderful. The procedure was quick and totally painless. I am delighted by the results. My vision is far beyond my expectation. Special thank you to my Surgeon, Dr Bui who is a delight. Only regret I have is not getting it done sooner. If you are fearful as I was, you can put that fear to rest. You will be pleasantly surprised. Update: the second eye is complete and the experience was the same as the first eye. I am so blessed to have found Austin Eye! This is by far the most efficient and caring doctor’s office I have ever been to. My advise to anyone who is delaying having their cataracts removed is don’t put it off. You have no idea what you are missing until it’s finished. The world is a bright and colorful place. I had forgotten how beautiful it is.

I’ve lived in Austin for 35 years and I remember from the start that Austin Eye had a great reputation. Combine that with multiple friends who had had laser and/or cataract surgeries at other doctors’ offices as well as Austin Eye and never hearing anything but great reviews from them for Austin Eye. I was not disappointed when I went in to see them, to see if I was a good candidate for lens replacement (I did not have cataracts, had never had laser surgery). The office staff and doctors were very professional, thorough, kind, informative – I left that day feeling confident in the upcoming surgeries that I had scheduled! The wonderful care I received on the days of my surgeries was awesome! I would recommend Austin Eye (Dr. Shannon Wong did my lens replacements) for your eye care and surgery needs.
