I had my final appointment at the Bee Caves office today and I just want to recognize one the technicians on the way she treated me. She was very friendly, courteous and professional in explaining the process of my visit. Her name is Gianina. I did complement her in front of the Doctor that was attending me at the time. I had been there twice before and was disappointed on how the other technicians performed the process. They seem to have no regard for a senior person. The staff at the Jollyville road office were great and made the experience easy and very welcoming . Thank you for the wonderful service. I see a whole lot better. Thanks to you’ll especially Dr. Wong for his skills and professionalism.

First, I want everyone to know that Dr Wong and his entire staff are absolutely the best. The smiles, greetings and actions of everyone at Austin Eye were both personal and professionally done. Second, Dr Wong , certainly a true professional, used terminology that I could understand covering the entire eye surgery. Every step was discussed in detail and yes, there were the negatives (extremely, extremely rare possibilities) but the assurances of success outweighed any other option. This full explanation made my decision to proceed easy. Third, I would say they (and I mean everyone at Austin Eye) met every goal. A 20/20 vision gift for me was a true team effort. These abilities are priceless. There is also the special “Thank You Dr Wong for a job well done”

Dr. Bui, and the entire support staff at Austin Eye, provided a total solution, from my initial sign-in, through the evaluation, pre-op, operation and post-op, of which other organizations can only dream. I don't know if there is a Malcolm Baldrige award for medical care, but Austin Eye would definitely qualify. Another unique offering from Austin Eye is they own their own surgical facility and when you write your check, it's one check for everything. You are not dealing with one payment to the Austin Ey'e, another to the surgical facility and a third to the anesthesiologist. It is important to note, they gave me a price and it was THE PRICE. There were no hidden charges. I make the point about pricing because I had a completely different experience with Dell. I was give one number, in writing, for out of pocket expenses, and then at the pre-op appointment, when they expect you to make your payment, I was informed there would be additional payments to the surgical center and anesthesiologist. ….not to mention the $300 bottle of eye drops they had previously prescribed. A significant difference between Austin Eye and Dell is Dell doesn't own their own surgical facility, but rather use a third party facility… which brings in the issue of dealing with three entities. There were also other customer service issues about being told I would receive call backs, which never happened. Back to Austin Eye. Based on my experience, from pricing to the customer service experience, Austin Eye offers a significantly better value than Dell, and if you choose Austin Eye, you will be satisfied with the results. I am also providing this same review to Google in case you run across it, and think it strange to see two identical reviews.

Dr. Wong at Austin Eye Clinic performed cataract lens replacement on me in early December, 2021. I am so pleased with the whole experience. I chose Vivity lenses. I have incredible far and mid-range vision and I can see well enough close up to use my iphone but if I am using phone for awhile I use readers. I can see better than I have my entire adult life. And no light flare driving at night. Everyone was polite concerned reassuring and professional which eased my fear of having an eye operation. Dr Wong was incredible each eye only took ten minutes, I had total trust and confidence in him and that trust was well earned. I found him on youtube and I was so impressed by his thorough presentation that I travelled from Portland, OR for treatment. I went to the botanical gardens and I was amazed at all the natural beauty I have missed all my life. What a joy it is to see so well and drive so easily at night. Thank you, Dr. Wong! PS: His new offices and massive 4K television streaming gorgeous drone video of the outdoors shows Dr Wong's commitment to creating a wonderful patient experience.
