My experience with Dr. Odette has been great! He performed cataract surgery in both eyes, and has been monitoring me for glaucoma and machular degeneration for the past ten years. I can’t say enough good things about the care I received from Dr. Odette. Since I am leaving Austin, he will be missed.

I am very pleased with the Austin Eye staff and Dr. Wong. It’s easy to make appointments and the staff is always friendly. Dr. Wong corrected my vision with LASIK surgery in the 90’s and recently corrected my vision with Premium Lens Replacement. Dr. Wong explained the procedure and didn’t try to pressure me into surgery. He said that lenses were always improving and I should have the surgery when I was tired of dealing with poor vision. I’m glad he let me make my own decision. I was ready! I can read menus without glasses! I’ve had the lens replacement and today I had the YAG capsulotomy. Didn’t realize I needed it but it made a difference. In case you’re wondering why, I’m fairly picky. I’m seeing 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in one eye, which is good but I’d like 20/20 in both eyes. Point is, they didn’t take my money, give me the lens replacement and say we’re done. I really feel like Austin Eye and Dr. Wong care about giving me the best vision possible!

It was easy to get an appointment for something that needed checked immediately. Staff were helpful and courteous. Dr Odette’s examination was thorough, and I appreciated that he checked both eyes as long as I was there even though I only had a problem with one. Dr Odette was clear in his explanation of what was happening with the immediate problem as well as providing information about what I should plan for in terms of long-term care for my eyes.
