My experience with Austin Eye was short and sweet. I had been curious about Lasik for years and I just kept pushing it off because of anxiety and it seeming like it would be a long process. None of that was the case from scheduling my initial free consult to the actual procedure. I considered the price to be fair (especially considering I will never have to spend time and money dealing with contacts and glasses again) and actually cheaper than some other quotes I got from other places in Austin.My initial consult was scheduled quickly within a week and the space was modern and clean, and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The timeline, procedure, and pricing were all explained to me with no used car tactics, and all my questions and concerns were addressed. Dr. Wong made me feel comfortable because of his experience, reflected in his calm assured interactions with me.The Lasik procedures are on Tuesdays, so I was able to get the procedure the following week. It all went fast but I preferred it because it allowed me less time to think and dwell on it.The procedure went well, and the followup continued to reassure me that they were making sure everything was looking good and healing well. My vision improved more and more as my eyes fully recovered from the surgery. It’s been a little over 4 months since the procedure, and I couldn’t be happier with this decision to finally get Lasik. It’s improved my quality of life so much.

Beautiful office, very well-run, and well-staffed. I always enjoy my visits with Dr. Odette and believe he and the team there are very good at what they do.
