Dr Max Merdert & the entire staff are awesome. I went in there because of my fear of a possible early sign of a detached retina. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case. I was very nervous & in tears. Dr Medert & his assistant in the patent’s room both had phenomenal bedside manners & where very compassionate & understanding & helped me to relax & not worry so much. The last time I was at Austin Eye was when the founder of Austin Eye, Dr Mitchell Wong was still practicing. In fact he was the last doctor I saw before coming today & being seen my Dr Medert. I miss Dr Mitchell Wong but I am so glad that other phenomenal doctor’s like Dr Medert have stepped up to take his place.
